1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Sté VIDESYS SARL (trade name: Videsys), a SARL registered in Tunisia under RNE / Matricule fiscal 1631811X, with its registered office at Route de Mateur km 7, Immeuble Carthage, 2010 Manouba, Tunisia. Contact: contact@videsys.com · +216 23 573 318.

We process personal data in accordance with Tunisian Organic Law No. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy applies to videsys.com, studio.videsys.com and the Videsys player.

2. Data we collect

Contact and trial requests: name, email address, company, phone number if provided, and your message.
Account data: name, email address, company name, password (stored only as a secure hash), team members you invite and their roles.
Billing data: plan, amounts, dates, invoice details and the payment reference returned by our payment provider. Your card details are entered on Flouci's secure payment page and are never received or stored by Videsys.
Content data: the videos, live streams, subtitles and images you upload, and their settings.
Usage and viewing statistics: plays, watch time, concurrent viewers, country (derived from IP address), device type and data served. These are shown to the account owner in aggregated form.
Technical data: IP addresses, browser type and request logs, used for security and troubleshooting.

3. Why we collect it (purposes) and legal basis

To answer contact and trial requests and open your workspace (pre-contractual steps)
To provide, maintain and secure the Service (performance of the contract)
To process payments, issue invoices and manage your subscription (contract and legal obligations)
To send service emails such as login details, password resets, invoices and important notices (contract)
To enforce our Terms, prevent fraud and abuse and keep the platform secure (legitimate interest)
To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation)

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.

4. Who receives your data

Your data is accessible only to authorised Videsys staff and to service providers acting on our instructions, in the following categories:

Payments: Flouci, which processes your payment and its security checks
Hosting and infrastructure: servers, databases and backups located in the European Union
Content delivery and network security: global video delivery and protection against attacks (data may be processed at edge locations worldwide)
Storage: secure storage for uploaded and encoded video
Content protection: issuing playback licences for DRM-protected content
Email delivery: sending service emails

Each provider processes data only as needed for its service and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. Where data is transferred outside Tunisia, we do so in accordance with the conditions of Organic Law No. 2004-63. A list of our providers is available on request.

5. How long we keep it

Contact and trial requests that do not lead to an account: 12 months
Account data: while your account is active, then 30 days after closure
Content: deleted on request, or 30 days after account termination
Viewing statistics: while your account is active, deleted with the account
Billing and accounting records: 10 years, as required by Tunisian accounting law
Server logs: 30 days

6. Security

All data in transit is encrypted (TLS). We use access controls, encrypted storage where applicable, regular backups and security monitoring to protect your data.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to operate the Service, namely authentication session cookies. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
Delete your data, subject to our legal retention obligations
Object to processing for legitimate reasons
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (portability)
Withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Instance Nationale de Protection des Données Personnelles (INPDP) in Tunisia, or with your local data protection authority if you are in the European Economic Area.

10. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will notify account holders by email or in-app notice before material changes take effect.
